Open Pantry

My first stop was the Open Pantry on North Ave. and Cambridge Ave. I stood by the door and got the little "ding!" sound whenever a patron entered or exited the Open Pantry.

Atomic Tattoos

My next stop on my "sound journey" was also on North Ave. I was walking when I saw a building that said "Atomic Tattoo". The first thing I thought was: "Is that how you spell 'tattoo'? Because, that is a weird looking word..." Then all of a sudden I got a brilliant idea! I went inside and recorded the sounds of the wonderful world of "tattooing"!! (If that's a word...)

Fire Truck on Hamilton Street

I stopped on Hamilton Street to get an ambience recording because it was so peaceful that every listen sound that was made would stand out. I sat there for a while, and it seemed like nothing was happening. All of a sudden, I could hear a fire truck in the distance. I thought it was cool how you can hear it when it's about 5 blocks away, and it gradually gets closer and closer. There was also a guy down the street attempting to shovel the snow, if that's important to you.

Fazio's Automotive on Farwell

I was walking down Farwell when I saw a car repair shop called "Fazio's." I decided to stop and check it out. I stood next to the garage door as a man in a red sweater (Fazio??) started pumping a thick liquid from a hose into a giant yellow bucket.

Birds Frolicking on Summit Ave.

I was walking east on Windsor st. and I started hearing chirping noises. This was pretty odd because it was ridiculously cold outside. However, it was a nice change of pace from the car noises I had been hearing all day. There was also a man and woman conversing on the other side of the street.
